Honest Portrait
300 EUR + studio rental
A calm, honest studio portrait without the development of a separate artistic concept. You do not need to pose, perform or arrive with an idea.

Studio
Studio rental is paid separately. We agree on the studio and its cost before you book.
Booking and payment
A €100 booking payment covers our consultation and preparation and counts towards the €300 session fee. The remaining €200 is due on the day of your shoot and can be paid straight after the session.
Rescheduling
You can reschedule up to twice without an additional fee from me, subject to availability. Any studio cancellation or rebooking charges are separate.
Prints, makeup and a stylist are not included.
Conceptual Portrait Commission
Starting from €500. Custom proposal after our initial conversation.
An authorial portrait commission developed around an individual visual idea.

I help with clothing and props. If the idea calls for a makeup artist, stylist, special location or other collaborators, we agree on their roles, arrangements and costs in your proposal.

Printed photographs
Honest Portrait is delivered digitally, with no print included. Printed photographs for Conceptual Portrait Commission can be included by agreement. Their number, size, paper, production method and price are specified in your individual proposal.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing before booking, I may use selected photographs from the session in my portfolio and to promote my photography brand, including on my website, social media, in exhibitions, professional submissions and promotional materials.
The client receives a non-exclusive licence for private use. Any commercial use must be agreed in writing and must include the credit “Photo: Anna Chekryshova”, unless another credit format is agreed in advance.
Full or partial confidentiality must be agreed before booking and recorded in the contract.

How can I book a session?
Use the enquiry form or message me on Instagram. We’ll discuss the session and agree on a date before confirming the booking.
How long does the session last?
Honest Portrait takes place within one booked studio hour, including settling in and finishing up. For Conceptual Portrait Commission, the schedule is agreed in your individual proposal.
When will my photos be ready?
Honest Portrait includes 15 final digital photographs, delivered within 14 days. For Conceptual Portrait Commission, the finished photographs and delivery date are agreed in your individual proposal.
Will you retouch my photos?
No. I edit colour and tone — the rest is you, as you are. Freckles, texture, the way light falls on your collarbone. That’s not something I remove.
I’ve never been professionally photographed before. Is that okay?
Most of my clients say the same thing before their session. My job is to create a space where you don’t need to perform. “I’m just going through something and freedom is what I’ve been longing for” — that’s enough to start.
Can I bring something meaningful to the session — or suggest an idea?
For Honest Portrait, we choose one simple outfit beforehand and keep preparation simple. If you’d like an individually developed visual idea, references and detailed preparation, choose Conceptual Portrait Commission.
Where do you shoot?
Honest Portrait takes place in a selected standard Tallinn studio. Studio rental is paid separately, with the location and cost agreed before booking. Conceptual Portrait Commission may use a studio or another location agreed in your proposal. Special locations and production costs are agreed before booking.
