Q&A
Frequent customer questions and answers. If you have questions, text me on social networks.
How can I book a session?
Message me on Instagram or through the contact form. Summer dates fill up quickly - it’s worth reaching out early.
How long does the session last?
1.5–2 hours. There’s no rush — we take the time to slow down, settle in, and let things unfold. Most women say afterwards that it went by too fast.
When will my photos be ready?
Within 14 days. Every series is edited by hand, in my style. I don’t do volume work.
Will you retouch my photos?
No. I edit colour and tone — the rest is you, as you are. Freckles, texture, the way light falls on your collarbone. That’s not something I remove.
I’ve never been professionally photographed before. Is that okay?
Most of my clients say the same thing before their session. My job is to create a space where you don’t need to perform. “I’m just going through something and freedom is what I’ve been longing for” — that’s enough to start.
Can I bring something meaningful to the session — or suggest an idea?
Yes, and I love when this happens. Bring one object that means something to you — a musical instrument, flowers, a piece of fabric, a book. Or come with a concept you’ve always wanted to shoot. Some of my favourite sessions started with “I’ve always wanted to try…”
Where do you shoot?
Outdoors — urban locations, the seaside, wherever the concept calls for.
At home works beautifully too: a window and a bed are sometimes enough for the most honest portraits.
Studios are a favourite — clean light, full control, no distractions.
I don’t shoot in grass (tick season).
I’m also drawn to unexpected places — a workshop, a rehearsal room, a stairwell, a space you use every day but never thought of as beautiful.
If you have access to somewhere like that or there’s a location that feels meaningful, tell me.
Some of the most interesting sessions happen in places nobody would think to photograph.
